Has any one done any work with GS!-128 bar-codes, as far as scanning into spreadsheet by AI numbers?

That's GS1-128 barcodes?

They have a structure: to build the barcode
Start Code
Function Codes
etc etc

These are product barcode I think, and can be quote long in length

The code broken down into subsets, and follow a criteria

If you can a code via a barcode reader you should be able to get the numeric into a cell of Excel and reference that the a look up table

I did this of std 128 codes years ago

Not sure if that helps, all codes should read into Excel ok, them you need to sort out the returned data for whatever you require

ty I am trying to be able to break them down to the AI feilds by weight , pack date serial number,,,,ect
(01)90027182300349(3201)000239(11)190422(21)0058800311

this is a sample the (01) is the GTIN # (3202) is weight with 2 decimal place& 6 numbers (11) is pack date with 6 numbers and (21) is the serial number
sometimes the AI are in different places....
and not always inside ().
