grouping records in a query

hi,i have a field with "cycles" i want to make the query group records by every 100 cycles (e.g(0-100, 101-200) etc and give me average values for the data at these points. i know how to get the averages. the only problem is how to make it group the records.

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
You could try creating a field in your query that makes a Cycle Group:
=INT([Cycle]/100)+1

Then group by this field, and grab the average of the Cycle field in the grouping
