I am using Groupby function in a sheet, now the problem that i am facing is that, the values from the source sheet are in negatives, what i want is that the groupby function should return the negative values in positive and positive values in negative. Any way to do that plz?

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Can you post some sample data along with expected results.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.

As you can see that values from the source sheet are in negatives, and results i am getting from Grouby Function is also negative which is fine, but i want it in reverse, that negatives should be in positives and positives should be in negatives. I have shared the results, desired results and source sheet Screenshots.

Unfortunately your images have not worked.
Can you post the actual data using the XL2BB add-in as it saves typing everything out.

If you’re just using the SUM function, try preceding the values argument with a minus sign (-).

Excel Formula:
=GROUPBY(fields,-values,SUM)

If that doesn’t work, and you’re still struggling to share some sample data, please share the complete syntax of the formula you’re currently using.
