Hello!

I am an intermediate excel user who is designing a large file which will be used by many people. I cannot tell you more then that.

I would like for users to be able to group/ungroup columns and rows on protected worksheets. Initial research tells me this requires VBA skills that I am only just beginning to learn.

Other info regarding the macro I require:
1. I would like this macro to be effective on all sheets in the workbook.
2. I would like to not have to run this macro everytime I opened the file (IE only use the macro when protecting/unprotecting the sheets, which I hope will be a rare occurence).
3. I will likely attach this macro to a button.
4. The numerous sheets will have unprotected cells, formula's, etc.

Thank you for your help!!
Mark

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
5. If users disable macros, the sheet is automatically protected so people are not able to change it.

Wish I could edit my post :(
