Hi,

I have some data with column of town names (40k rows with around 500 unique towns). Is it possible to group the data by a geographical area i.e Northern or Southern area?

Thanks for any help offered

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.

Which field distinguishes the geographic area? What is the criteria for grouping? If you were to do this manually, what would it look like?

The geographical area can be distiguished by column 1 (UK Postcode) or column 2 (UK Town). Ideally I would like to be able to see the percentage of High, Medium or Low risk (column 9) by area (possibly user defined) such as Scotland, North England, Middle England and South England though I am guessing that this would need to be done with some kind of mapping link?

Thanks
