Group by Hour in Powerview?

Please excuse if this is a repeat, but:

I am trying to create a matrix style table in powerview that shows the day of the week in the rows (I have a day of the week field in my data model table) and the hour of the day in the columns (I have a time in field in my data model table). With normal pivot tables I was able to group the time in field by hour, but I can't seem to do that in Power view!! It just shows individual times (ie: 12:52pm instead of grouping all of the 12pm times together). Is there a way, or do I need to create a new field and how would I get an hour of the day field (calculated field or some other way)?

I am very experienced in pivot tables, but new to powerpivot and powerview and feel like they are more limiting than powerview.
Any help would be much appreciated, this has been soooooo frustrating!!

Thanks,
MK

I don't Power View too often, but it wouldn't surprise me if you need to create a new calculated column. =HOUR([TimeColumn]) should work -- though beware, you will get "14" for 2:15pm.
