Grey Out Field

I have a form and I want to Grey Out a Field so that it can not be manipulated but it could still be viewed.

How can I do this?

Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
replying with the answer nmight have been a good idea for us searching the boards to be relieved that your problem is sorted ! ;)
