Graybar report/Shade every other row

I know I've done it before, but I can't seem to do it again!! Can anyone help me figure out how to set up conditional formatting in an Access report to shade every other row?

I've tried the =mod(row(),2)=0, but that doesn't seem to work. Maybe it's not conditional formatting?

Try this in your Detail section's Format Event:

Private Sub Detail_Format(Cancel As Integer, FormatCount As Integer)
    If Me.Detail.BackColor = vbWhite Then
        Me.Detail.BackColor = 12632256
    Else
        Me.Detail.BackColor = vbWhite
    End If
End Sub
