Graphs background / bar charts

Hi !!
Is there a site which provides good backgrounds for excel bar charts. ? ones with geometrical designes. Or any utility compatible with excel which can help create goodlooking bar charts . I have tried but could not get powerful color coordination in excel .

Hi Leena,
You can actually use any image you want as the back ground for a chart by clicking on Format Chart Area, the click Fill Effects, Then go to the picture tab choose the image of your choice. For making images to use, I have had really great luck with Paint.NET which is free. (www.getpaint.net).

You can also edit Excel's colour pallette by;

Tools > Options > Color > Modify

You get the choice of colours and the option to mix your own, I've found this can help when trying to make something look aesthetically pleasing

The paint.net looks interesting , would try it. I have already been trying the tools and modify option , but somehow not able to get eye pleasing graphs.. guess i need some coaching in that as well...

"wow charts" are also quite good looking , i came across them sometime back. let me know if any of you have any more inputs..

Forgot to mention it, but make sure you install .Net Framework 3.0 (free) before installing paint .net.
