Hello,
Using the latest Excel on a Mac.
Am a bit of a beginner with spreadsheets.
This has really been driving me nuts trying to figure out.
I have created two spreadsheets.
As best as I can determine, they are set up identically.
Can't find any difference in the formatting, or anything else.
Created one from the other, and they really seem to be identical, as I want.
They are very simple spreadsheets.
Dates in one column, and a numerical value in the next column.
Plotted as a scatter graph.
They both plot just fine, but-
On Spreadsheet No. 1, as soon as I enter any new data (a date and value) the graph automatically
updates and shows this. I don't have to do anything. Just enter some date/value data, and an
updated graph appears.
But for the second spreadsheet, it will not update "automatically".
I have to go into the data page each time, select, the values again, but with the new data, and tell
it to re-plot. This works, and the graph appears updated.
Obviously, I would like the second Spreadsheet to behave like the first one.
What are the "obvious" things I should check out between them ?
Everything I can find and check between them seems truly identical.
Must be missing something, somewhere.
Thoughts ?
Thanks, appreciate the help,
Bob
