Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Protect the sheet with a password should work (Tools>Protection>Protect Sheet)

Not quite sure what you mean but you should still be able to enter data into individual cells on a protected sheet if you format them as unprotected i.e. Format>Cells -Protection tab and uncheck the 'locked' box

Some cells are protected using coding this was the only way it could be done for the project that i was doing at the time for other reasons, but since the project was completed it has been found that a graphic which is on the page was deleted i was just seeing if there was a way that i could lock that graphic to the page to stop it happening again so I need to see if it is possible without protecting the sheet but thankyou for your help anyways

Also, when you protect the sheet, only protect it for Objects. Deselect Contents etc and you will be able to enter data.
