Hi,
I am trying to produce a graph in Excel that sounds simple on paper.

I want to show Turnover on the left hand side and Margin on the right hand side (secondary axis). Then underneath have the Category Number 1-6.

I would like the Graph to be a Clustered Column chart. Turnover to be Columns and the GP% to be the Line.

I've 'coloured' it in in Excel (attached) at present. The problem is when I put the Turnover figures in, I just want my numbers (25000, 50000, 100000, 250000, 500000, Unlimited). When I put it in a graph Excel defaults to 0, 100000, 200000, 300000, 400000, 500000. Which is not what i want to show.

Any ideas please?

Thanks,
James

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
by asking for an axis with 25000 as a point you need a very big scale for the axis.
Additionally you need to add a value for the maximum value or a column will not be created.

You can use Data Labels to indicate the values. And Data Labels can be changed and formatted much differently than shown here.

And you can update gap width and change individual data colors:
