I have a set of dates that are records of registrations for an event. Each date represents a single registration as reported by event software.

I'd like to graph the registrations over the full range of time in which they ocurred. So in the linked dataset, I'd like to graph the number of registrations on the indivdual days but have the full date range of 5/12-7/8 on the H axis. I've been using a pivot chart, which is useful, but it has even spacing between the days. I've also built a regular line chart using the data from the pivot chart, but I get more or less the same result (see linked file).
Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi pixeldroid,

I think a column chart would be better and Excel will default to a Date Axis.

Then you will only see spikes for the days that actually have values.

Hope this helps.
