Graph Gridlines and Axis Ranges Help

I am making a graph in excel and I am wanting the tick lines at the bottom of my chart to be full lines. Is this possible on excel? I am also wanting my y-axis to start at 1 instead of having all of that blank space at the bottom of my graph. I am also wanting to put those lines in there that create a right angle. I have inserted a picture of my current graph and a picture of what I am wanting it to look like in the end. Any help on this will be so greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
you can fix both in the axis settings:
