Hi All, please, please consider tackling this, it would be a massive step in moving a career spreadsheet forward!

So I have a pivot table that subtotals thousands of mutual funds by "asset classes". The pivot has several Value columns that needed to be ranked (within each sub total). I ranked the Value columns by way of the 'duplicating the columns process' (one column has the data, one has the ranking).

The challenge is finding a way to sum the ranked columns to arrive at a "Total Ranking" for each mutual fund, within each asset class.

I tried using a calculated field but the choices don't reflect that there are two of each column that needs to be summed.

Thank you so much for any consideration.

Hi all, trying a rule 12 clarification:

Challenge: I'm trying to find a way to sum multiple Ranked Value columns within a pivot. The ranks are done by creating duplicate columns for the data they're ranking (thus why I believe you can't use a 'calculated field'). I've drawn on the attached pic for reference. Any help is incredibly appreciated.

Best,
F
