Excel Facts

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Are you open to a different structure for your spreadsheet? If you create a master record sheet and a "data entry" sheet that records who's present, you could much more easily generate a report of how many absences someone has by. It's hard for Google Sheets to count checkboxes, especially when the data is spread out into multiple columns and rows per event like that.
Let me know if you're interested; I can send over a sample.

First of all, thanks a lot for your time :D
Yes, maybe I can use another structure. If you can send this sample it will help a lot.

Cheers

Something like this:

Definitely not as elegant as it could be, and the formula on Statistics could be more elegant, but it works.
