Google Sheets Charts Formatting Question

Hello,

I am exporting my QBO into sheets for tracking some other data. I was wanting to add to the data by having a visual. I thought a chart might be nice. But i am either not understanding it or overcomplicating it. As most might know. QBO is items on the left in columns and dates and data on rows. I want to track Total income and possible other comparisons in a month over month view, but it only seems to want to allow for the columns and rows to be X and Y. Is there a way to have two rows as the X and Y or is there a chart that allows it. I am open to lines or bar graphs. Or any other options or recommendations that will let me show my data visually.

TIA
