Hi,

Here is my Formula,

=COUNTA(FILTER(A31:A900,Q31:Q900="Product - 1031"))

In column A there are Names
In column Q there are department names

I do not understand why the formula returns a 1 instead of 0 when there is no match between column A and Q

Any explanations?

Cheers

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
If there are no results, FILTER returns #N/A and counta counts that as 1.
