Hi Guys

I'm trying to use google docs and am quite new to it. I have a countif that would work in excel but doesn't seem to in google docs.

=countif(Resource!$A:$A,$B$2&$B$4&$B$6&$B$9&"-"&$C$9&A12)

it's basically looking up to a concatenated column on another tab and is based on a selection criteria of drop down menu's. I've compared just the concatenated results to ensure they match.

Not sure if it works a little different in Google.

Does anyone else use this and and advise?

Cheers

Soggy

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Thanks Austin that will be useful.

I actually found the problem, little error where one letter in a string of 50 was in wrong order. Just couldn't see for looking.

Kinda reminds me of those times where you spend 3 hours troubleshooting what ends up being a semicolon ;)

Glad I could help.
