IGNORE THIS IF YOU NEVER PLAYED WITH GOOGLE ANALYTICS!!!
This may not be the appropriate website to ask this, but I figured someone might have done this.
This is a general question, hopefully someone has used Google Analytics and did some spreadsheet work with it. I am basically trying to figure out what our "Customer Retention Index (renewal rate)" based on our clients usage of our website. Their might be some magic number with how many times our customers go to our website, i don't know, it's my job to figure it out.
This is where I am starting to analyze:
A. The size of the company vs. the # of hits
On an individual and domain level
B. Compare that # with open and closed accounts
C. Possibly based on time of day, day of week, # hits per day
I got this information for "all" of the hits on the individual/domain levels, but can't get it based on dates and times unless i select each individual/domain separately from the report. (for instance their are 1000+ separate individual that have visited our site in the past 3 months and it would take a lot of time to open each excel report)
D. The pages and downloads that each individual/domain visited at each visit
E. Any other suggestions???
It's a stretch it anyone knows, doesn't hurt to ask.
