Hello Evryone

I have a problem in my office 365, in using goal seek
When I use it, it change the set value by the value i has entered without changing the cell that must be changed

This is an exemple

A1 = 1 / A2= 2/ A3= A1+A2=3

(My goal is to have 100 in cell A3 by changing A1=> The result has to be A1=98 /A2=2 and A3=A1+A2=100)

The result that I had by using goal seek is : A1=1 /A2=2/A3=100 (Hard coded and the formula A1+A2 was disappered)

Please any solution to fix that??

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Hi,

When you click on Goal Seek, Choose as
Set Cell : A3
To Value : 100
By Changing Cell: A1 Then Click OK

Cell A1 = 98
Cell A2 = 2 (you have already entered this before Goal Seek run)
Cell A3 = 100 (with formula A1+A2)
