I need to reset a check box to a value of "no/false" via a button. When using the set value command it only resets the current record. I need to reset the box in all records. I apologize if I'm asking a stupid question or lack more detail.

Thanks for any replies.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
WELCOME TO THE BOARD!

You can reset/change the values for a field through an Update Query (see Access help on Action Queries). You can have it update all records, or just records which meet the criteria you set in the query.

Then simply link the query to your command button so that clicking it will call and run the query, performing your changes.
