giving the word GO a point value

I'm trying to establish an excel sheet that will tally the number of GO's a student gets and multiply that number by 5.

For example:
Column A has a list of either GO's or NO-GO's based on a students report. How can I add up the column and come up with a point system (given the GO's are worth 5 pts each) in a different cell?
