Give me alternate option for sumif formula to make this easier

SIR,
I have done SUMIF formula which is working but I need a better suggestion for this so I have 4 different sheets of raw data and total (summary) of this sheet in Rec.sheet.

=SUMIF(Rec.Sheet!$B$4:$B$144,B4,'Q-1'!$J$4:$J$142)+SUMIF(Rec.Sheet!$B$4:$B$144,B4,'Q-2'!$J$4:$J$142)+SUMIF(Rec.Sheet!$B$4:$B$144,B4,'Q-2'!$J$4:$J$142)+SUMIF(Rec.Sheet!$B$4:$B$144,B4,'Q-3'!$J$4:$J$142)

why b4 to b144 but j4 to j142 ?

it's a typing mistake. its b4 to b144 and j4 to j144.

I cannot see what you are trying to do - are you seeing how many times say B4 occurs in 3 other sheets ?

I need this formula =SUMPRODUCT(SUMIF(INDIRECT("'"&list&"'!A2:A100"),A2,INDIRECT("'"&list&"'!B2:b100 "))) which is for Vlookup and Sum Across Multiple Tabs.
I am searching for a long time for this formula.

are you then searching four sheets, b4 to b144, for how many times B4 - in each sheet - occurs IN TOTAL ?
