hello all,

I have two pivot table linked to the same list. I created this a few months ago and worked perfectly until yesterday when I went to use it. One pivot table still works fine, the other all I get is XRef! in all the cells of the pivot table.

I have deleted and recreated the pivot table, but still get xref!

I noticed that the PivotTable field list, had different names for the fields. For example Ʃ Values is the same for both pivot table, but one Pivot table field list showed "Legend Fields (series)" where in the other box is named "Column Labels". "Row Labels" was "Axis Field (categories)" in the other pivot table field list.

One more thing, in the "Ʃ Values" I have "sum of amount" and get xref! but if I change it to "count of amount" I get 20 in every cell of the pivot table. 20 is the number of people in the table.

By the way the table is 6 column by 32,000 rows.

I have made a few changes where I added to the table, and adjusted for it. The mystery is only one of two pivot tables stopped working.

Am using windows XP at work and Win7 at home.
Excel 2007 in both location.

Any suggestions on what's happening?

Thanking you in advance
Pierre
