I have a database running for past so many months and no changes has been done to it.

Now when I run a particular query (again not changed) it give me the following error -

Cannot open database '9 - Lan ID Update Qry'. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or file may be corrupt.

Any idea of how to resolve this problem?

Thanks

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
How often do you Compact & Repair your databases?
It is important to do this regularly, to keep it from bloating.
Try running it and see if that fixes it.

I usually go into Options and select the "Compact on Close" option so that it automatically runs a "Compact & Repair" everytime it closes.

Joe,

How does compact and repair helps? Well my query worked after I closed and open my application a couple of times.
