In a column (A) I have a typical date in the typical format of 06/23/08. In column (B) I want put a formula that give me the day in the week in the text format of MON, TUE, WED, THU, FRI . I know I can use =day(A:A) to give the numerical value but having it text values would be usefull. Any help would be apreciated. <TABLE style="WIDTH: 80pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=106 border=0 x:str><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 80pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 3392" width=106><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl67 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-TOP: #ebe9ed; BORDER-LEFT: #ebe9ed; WIDTH: 80pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ebe9ed; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right width=106 height=17 x:num="39622">06/23/08</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
