This is probably an easy question, but it has dogged me since Vista has been installed on my computer.
When you click and drag the cross in the lower right corner of a cell to autofill cells with text, an icon appears in the last cell for "auto fill options". It covers up the cells that are immediately below the ones that were filled. It does not go away until you enter data into another cell. It is very annoying and I have done everything to try to eliminate this icon. Can someone help me?

I have Excel 2007 and the options do not correspond. Do you know how to remove this autofill icon using Excel 2007? Thank you.

Hello again

Click on the Orb icon, "Office Button", select Excel Options, select Advanced, then under the "Cut Copy Paste, Group", uncheck Show Paste Options Buttons, Click OK.
Then proceed as per the video.
