Getting dynamic date returns

I have some users that submit daily logs with numeric values. It's a simple form where they input submission date, and about ten different numeric values.

I want to create a daily log that takes a snapshot of each day of that week + the previous Friday. So for instance the query/report would show the sum of all individuals submissions for each day. (the date is inputted as mm/dd/yyyy in the user form, and saved to the table as such).

FRI (PREV)MONTUESWEDTHURSFRI
TOTAL X's1512119
TOTAL Y's91146
TOTAL Z's38132
TOTAL A's5789
TOTAL B's37143

What I want is this to be dynamic, so it looks up the correct values for that week, but also structured so if I run the query on a Wednesday night for example, it will only return the values saved so far that week (such as the above).

What is the access query criteria to use?

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Not sure the question can be answered without knowing what you'd want to do if you run it on a Friday. Go back to the previous Friday? What if you run it on a Monday? If you go back to the previous Friday, you get only 1 or 2 days worth of data (assuming no activity on weekend days). A user form with textboxes supplying dates is the easiest solution. Depending on your answers, a dynamic solution might be a function as opposed to a complex expression.
