Getting duration data (MM:SS) to appear on a chart axis

Hello. I am trying to chart the monthly median duration of a project and while I can chart everything perfectly using columns B and D (Month and Seconds - see first image below) what I really want to do, is use the data from columns B and C (Month and MM:SS).

For clarity, the figures in column C are derived as follows: (=D2/86400) and are formatted as MM:SS using custom cell formatting (see second image below).

It is not crucial whether the duration data is on the X- or Y-axis, although my preference is to maintain it as shown.

I am using Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, if that helps. Thank you!
