Hello all,

I came across challenge that I cannot resolve by myself, maybe there is someone out here who can help me? And here it is:
I have table where columns reference is X and rows reference is Y and Z values. This table is fitted with numbers 0 and from 1 to 5.
I want to find function in excel that if I enter in cell X1 column reference it would search values from 1 to 5 in this column and return values of corresponding row where number was found. In one column there could be more than one number of same kinds, so it should return row references for all.

Is it even possible to resolve with function or there is other way? Thanks for help.

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
