Getting a cell to reference the value to a companion cell

Hi all,

Very close to completing a model and cannot think of what to do. Essentially, I have a team of players 1-15 and each has a corresponding weight. I have a model with formulas that use the weights of the players to calculate a few things. Now, I could just enter the weights in manually, but I would rather build it so I could simply punch in the jersey number (1-15) so that the model would pick up the corresponding player weight. Hopefully that makes sense -- any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Hi.

Why don't you make a single cell a named range and call it something like - R1 (Red team jersey 1) then keep the weight of the player in that single cell.
Whenever you type a formula you can refer to the player's weight with the named range that belongs to the single cell with the weight.

I hope I make sense :)
