I am using the GETPIVOTDATA formula to ruturn data in a PT.

How do I reference the PT Name rather then the cell it is located in?

Formula I want to use - =GETPIVOTDATA("Total",PT_CRM,"Owner","Person 1","New Type","Type 1","Start Date","Jan 18","Region","Region 1")

Instead of - =GETPIVOTDATA("Total",$AE$3,"Owner","Person 1","New Type","Type 1","Start Date","Jan 18","Region","Region 1")

TIA

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
You can't use the name of the pivot table. Why do you need to?

Positive I've use the name before.....

I will have a lot of pivot tables and this will aid error chasing.

How will it aid error chasing? Surely a cell reference is a lot more obvious than the name of a pivot table which can only be determined by selecting a pivot table, or by using code?

The only way you could use the name is if you defined a named range that mapped to the pivot table.
