GetPivotData Function

Hello,

I would like to know what is the purpose of GetPivotData function. What are the benefits of using this function rather than a regular function?

I have "Googled" and can't find a clear answer.

Hi Elaine,

GetPivotData directly references values from pivot tables, they can be tricky as they hard code target values in the formulas.

The main benefit is that it will work if you rearrange the pivot table layout (assuming the relevant cell is still in the pivot table) unlike a typical lookup type function.
