I am totally frustrated by the fact that I have been using [=GETPIVOTDATA("Sum of Clicks",LinkedIn!$N$2,"Year",2016,"Month",September)] every month since January's data and it has been working but this month 'September' it cannot fetch the data from the Pivot Table even though the data is in there and the formula is the same as last month. The only change has been the word 'August' to 'September'. In theory this should give me results for September but its just giving me the #REF!

Welcome to the forum.

I would expect that formula to be:
=GETPIVOTDATA("Sum of Clicks",LinkedIn!$N$2,"Year",2016,"Month","September")

Assuming your settings are set to create GETPIVOTDATA formulas automatically, what formula do you get if you type = and then select the cell in the pivot whose data you want?
