HI Friends

I have one question how to get data which is after "\" from right.

Ex :- T:\Desktop\Files\Robart working.xls

I want only last string which come after "\" that mean "Robart working.xls"

this file path will not be same in future there will be more "\".however i need only last string.

Please help me you can share vba code also for above.
Thanks.

Probably a quicker way but try

=RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-FIND(CHAR(1),SUBSTITUTE(A1,"\",CHAR(1),LEN(A1)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A1,"\","")))))

Give this formula a try...

=TRIM(RIGHT(SUBSTITUTE(A1,"\",REPT(" ",300)),300))

...and here it is

=TRIM((RIGHT(SUBSTITUTE(A1,"\",REPT(" ",500)),500)))

Oops, too late!
