Hi guys,

Is it possible to achieve the following in excel:

I select cell A1, which has a specific reference number. This cell/number corresponds to B1:K1 data set. Similarly, A2 corresponds to B2:K2 data set, and so on.
Separately, there is a formula in cell M1, which uses the data set based on a selected reference number.
I click on any reference number in column A, and a formula in cell M1 uses the corresponding data set. I mean data changes on each selection, just by clicking on a cell within a single column.

Sound possible on not?

Thanks,
Arthur

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Tell me what you want to happen when you click on A1
And normally we do not need to have a formula in a place like M1
Vba will have some type formula in the script to put what you want in M1
Tell me what you want to do and we can write a script to do it.
And what happens in B to K

And I assume it will be M1 then M2 and then M3 depending on what row you click on
Or will you be entering different values in A1 A2 A3
If so we would have the script run when you enter a value into column "A"
