Excel 2013. Have a filter created on selected cells (A1:D10), options in column B are 'ABC', 'DEF' & 'GHI". When I filter column B by 'ABC', only the rows with 'ABC' are displayed. NOW, is there a way to have a cell outside of the filtered cells, say K2, to "equal" or display the filter selection, in this case 'ABC'? Obviously, I want this cell (K2) to change/update it's value every time I change the filter selection.

I've spent a while searching, to no avail. Maybe I'm missing something obvious or not using the correct combination of terms.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Thanks, works well enough. The resulting cell is placing an "=" before the filter result, but it's still usable. Thanks again. :)
