I'm trying to develop a workbook that will develop a random league schedule based on:

1) Number of Teams
2) Number of Weeks
3) Number of Position Rounds

Has anyone done anything like this before? I'm having a hard time conceptualizing how I can get this done. Maybe I can't, but I'm sure it's possible.

TIA!

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
I do not have any idea, but I have a concept creating distance legend on a map.

What are you having trouble with, randomness? Team Name (Column A)=RAND() (Column B) and (Column C)

For the first half: Create a table, place the team names on both the verticle and horizonal in the random assigned sequence (Column B).

For the second half: Create another table, place the team names on both the verticle and horizonal in the random assigned sequence (Column C).

Where they intersect is a game for the week.

Having selected the teams and dates and listed them side by side determin the Home and Visitor assigning another random number to each team in table first Half and the ighest/lowest number wins home of visitor, then the second half is the opposite for that team combo.
