Hello all,

For some reason when I opened my workbook this morning, I noticed all of the cells which had previously been formatted as "General", had been for some reason automatically changed to "Accounting" (UK). Does anybody have an idea as to why or how this happened and how I can fix it?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Andrew

Hi Andrew

Assuming xl2003 or below, check Format>Styles and for the Normal style click Modify and see what Number Format has been assigned to it.

Thanks for the reply.

However, I'm actually using xl2007. How can I access that option in this version of Excel?
