function help pre set value and subtraction numbers

i use this formula
=SUMPRODUCT((OFFSET($A8;0;1;1;372)<>"")*(IF(OFFSET($A8;0;1;1;372)=$NX$16;-2;IF(OFFSET($A8;0;1;1;372)=$NX$17;-1;1))*(OFFSET($A$3;0;1;1;372))))

when user add symbol in cell NX16 count -2 if add NX17 count -1, i want some help in this function to start number subtraction from 48 and stop to 0.... any edit help lease?
