FTE times available hours

Dear readers,

In table 1 I stated the available hours per period. Table 2 gives an overview of our employees including FTE %.
I would like to combine the available hours time the percentage of FTE per employee in order to get the available hours per month (or period) per employee.

I tried to use the calculate function, but powerpivot only returns the total values for a whole year. When selecting a specific month, it still returns the year value.

What can I do?
Thanks everyone!

Dennis

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Are the tables already related? Or are there multiple keys (like employee ID and month)? Would you be able to multiply them using something like =[hours_available]*RELATED(other_table[FTE]) or =[hours_available]*LOOKUPVALUE(other_table[FTE],other_table[employee_id],[employee_id],other_table[month],[month])?
