Hello,

Been like 5 years since I used excel. I'm trying to free multiple rows for a table I'm creating. I have a table that has different categories and wanted to freeze the panes for each category. For some reason I can only freez one row in excel. Wanted to freeze like row 1 then row 30 the row 50, ect so I can scroll through the table but for each category be able to see the pertinent data and not get lost with the information

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Not sure on an answer to that directly but have you tried subtotal on the data tab, it's really good for breaking down tables
