Hello Friends

Is it possible to freeze structure of the spreadsheet so that no additional columns can be added to the spreadsheet? And the user is still able to edit text/values in the spreadsheet? I am using Excel 2007.

I have prepared a template that I am going to share with a group. The code in the template is sensitive to the structure of the data (on number of columns only). If a column is added or removed the code will not function properly. I still want them to be able to add data to the spreadsheet (copy and paste multiple records from other sheets).

Thanks
Rajesh

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Not freezing...can protect the worksheet and there is option in review tab to select the cells for others to edit as you said they can add data, copy and paste multiple records from other sheets....Cheers Muz:)
