Freeze Rows and Columns in Excel

Hi All,

I have an excel document where i want to freeze both the right and left side columns.

Example: Excel allows to freeze specific row or column or left and top of particular cell, however I want to freeze the Column A and as well as Column J and also 3rd Row.

Can any one please help me how to achieve this?

not sure if this is what you want but with the vba environment (ALT + F11) you can lock columns under the scrollarea so put A:J. You can only work within those columns.

Thanks for your reply, but still i didn't clear how to lock columns using VBA. Can you please give some details/code to get this done.

Hold ALT + F11 and you should see the VBA environment. On the bottom left, you should under properties (sheetname). Look for ScrollArea and put in A:J. Post a screeenshot of your vba environment if you still dont see it.
