Freeze Panes Glitch / Issue

Using Excel Office 365, I'm trying to freeze the top 4 rows on one tab.

I select cell A5, go to View Tab, Window Grouping, Freeze Panes Pull Down, Freeze Panes.

The result is that the top 4 rows indeed freeze, however, they are duplicated on the scrolling window below, and if I click in a cell, it is four rows below the corresponding row number. This seems to me to be more of a glitch, but I was wondering if anyone else has run into this issue, and further knows how to remedy this.

Thanks in advance.

Tried closing the file, then re-opening. This seems to have fixed the problem. Been working on this for hours! Sometime I guess you just need to try the simple things first...
