I have been experiencing this same crash on multiple files... it seems like an excel glitch.

It happens when I have data loaded into the data model via power query and pivot tables feeding from the data model. When I execute the freeze pains shortcut (Alt, W, F, F) the file immediately crashes (and takes down all other open workbooks). If I don't use a short cut (view ribbon > freeze pains) or even if I execute half of the shortcut (Alt, W, F, then mouse click "Freeze Pains") the file is fine.

The shortcut is second nature to me at this point, so I'm constantly crashing my excel. This only happens when working in a data model file. I've tried disabling certain add-ins that I thought might be contributing and it doesn't seem to help.

Any help is much appreciated!

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
