Freeze cells after they are updated with today's date

I have an excel sheet that is pulling CME settlement prices from 'CME Sette' Tab & pulls them into '2017' Main Tab through web data connection.
I need help with a macro to freeze the cells after they update with todays date. T
So tomorrow when the report refreshes, with tomorrows date, it will fill in the appropriate row and keep the previous dates values.

Is there a Macro or formula to do this?

Are you in effect saying that yesterday's entries stopped at Row X, and Today's must begin at Row X +1?

Consider finding the Lastrow [Lastrow = cells(rows.count," Col_name").end(xlup).row] and then add your data from then.
Um? Are you able to write such a macro, or are you also asking for help with that too?

Sort of....I need a macro to look at a sheet's date, pull the info into another cell, then store. Then the next day, the next row will need to add that day for the day then store.
And continue.....

The "CME Settlement..." is on an Internet site and you want to select Daily data there and paste it after the previous entry?
What is the nature of the internet file, probably an HTML table? Um? You are drawing down only one line each day?

That should assist someone to come up with a proposal.
