Freeze and split?

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.

Select the top left cell of the range that will move (cell D2 in your case), then click the "Freeze/Freeze Pain" or Split button on the Ribbon's View tab.
