Free lancing

Im sure most of you already know, but you can get hired to do VBA automation for one of projects....

So heres my question, has anyone else noticed that some these projects end up the board. I think its amusing that people pay for what they could ask for... and sometimes those that get paid, just ask here (well more on other boards) anyway.

Thats it, I just thought it was amusing in my some what sleep deprived state. (If I could find the post i'd put some links up.)

Has anyone else seen it?

I have, a couple of times. As long as they don't try and renege on any agreement they have with me, I don't mind. (in my cases they hired me after posting)

I just meant when they have hired someone else.... and then the person they hired (im guessing) asks on here.

I never thought they might try for themselves as well first.

Yes, there does seem to be some cases of paid providers coming here for the answers.....I know from personal experience....by a bizarre coincidence, we had a Subby doing work for us, that I could have done gratis for our organisation....he then posted a question on Mr Excel....and guess who provided his answer !!!.....a few red faces there I can tell you .....
